Chamois

Chamois hunting, as any other mountain hunt, requires certain physical condition. Even though we are proud to have great infrastructures in our hunting areas to organize a less demanding option if needed. Best dates are from October 15th to November 15th (Cantabrian) and can be extended to mid-December for the Pyre- nean chamois. Afterwards both can be hunted from early January till mid-June.

CANTABRIAN

This mountains fall on its north side to the green coasts of the Cantabrian Sea where you will find incredible beaches of white sand. This range stands at an affor- dable 1,800 meters (6.000 feet) above sea level. Cantabrian mountains have one of the largest varieties of native wild species of Spain, from Wild Boar, Bear (protected), Chamois, Spanish

Ibex, Roe Deer, Fox or the always elusive Wolf.

PYRINEAN

Pyrenean mountains are simply impressive. They have the highest peaks among the pe- ninsula (apart from Sierra Nevada), some of which stand at 9.000 feet. This range spreads from the Mediterranean to the Cantabrian sea, constituting a magnificent natural bor- der that separates France from Spain.

This Chamois is the bigger one from the two nati- ve species to Spain.
