GREDOS

This mountain range is the one that got Ibex hunting started back in 1914. It has a more Atlantic style vegetation, probably for that reason the biggest Ibex in Spain come from here. They have a typical “lyra” horn shape and strong bodies that can weight over 220 pounds.

We hunt both South and North Gredos faces. For some hunts we are able to use horses. Gredos is a mountain hunt at it’s best.

Lodging at Gredos depends on the side of the mountain you will hunt. From a wonderful Relaix Chateau on the southern side, to the superb hotels with the best wine cellars and cuisine on the northern side. We also have the possibility of sleeping at the hunting grounds property country house.

That is hunting f rom your own 200,000 acre back yard!

BECEITE

This magnificent Mountain range is located south east of the Pyrenees. Beceite Ibex are known for its characteristic flare-out horns. Like the other Ibex in Spain the Beceite hunt is a demanding experience in an incomparable setting of beautiful sharp mountains.

We will have to glass for our desired trophy from to the impressive balconies that geology has created over the ages.

Lodging is in a superb Hotel & Spa right at the boundary of the hunting areas. The food its simply fantastic and made better when accompanied by the great wines of the region, one can also enjoy some typical dishes flavoured with the world-famous black truffles, grown in these mountains.

SOUTHEASTERN

In Granada, Almeria and the north of Málaga province we find the South Eastern ibex, also known as the “Mediterranean” one. It is known for its ram shaped horns. The hunt takes place quite close to the Mediterranean Sea at the boundaries of Sierra Nevada National Park (highest peaks in the Iberian Peninsula).

From some of those peaks the view of the sea is breathtaking, and on clear sky days you can even see Africa!

Very close to the astonishing city of Granada where visiting the Alhambra Palace is a must.

RONDA

Rough rocky Mediterranean terrain is where the smaller ibex of all four Spanish sub species lives. The hunt has a beautifully stalk through Spanish oak and olive fields before getting to the big cliff drops.

The shape of the horns of this beautiful ibex is straight back. Unlike its bigger cousins the cape on this ibex has a light tan colouration.

Ronda is a great city to visit with beautiful rose gardens and incredible views, surrounded by the bullfighting cattle farms and the great sierra.
